Only in Nepal: Many Maoists are Christians

Who says Maoists are atheists? New Delhi’s Nepali Maoists’ locales have become hotbeds of Christian activities, comments Sandhya Jain in the Daily Pioneer newspaper. She adds: "While second-in-command Baburam Bhattarai and his family are openly Christian, Prachanda does not proclaim his religious affiliations but his wife's entire family is Christian. His guru, Chandra Pradesh Gajurel, was a Christian preacher. Sources estimate that the 42,000-strong Maoist army would be 30 per cent Christian, but the cadre are kept in the dark that the top leadership is predominantly Christian." The question is, how did Nepal's news media miss this undoutedly a big story?

It is, indeed, very sad as well as unfortunate that the leaders of SPA-M,who claimed themselves as the only people's mandated parites of current Nepal, have unconstitutinally capturing the state power which might be termed as undemocratic, are unnecessarily interference in the long-run religious harmony and tolerance by unilateral declaring Nepal a secular state from the only Hindu state of the world. There is a no any descrimination to any public dealing and opportunity in public position of state which includes every constitutional head and members in the constitution of the kingdom of Nepal,1990 and it also equally very effectively implementing in praticle life of public and private life as well.It has almost been clear the fact that the decision of removing the Hindu state, which was not considered to seek even any endorsement from the democratic people of Nepal,is seems to be focused on not the welfare and benefit of entire Nepali community but it has been to have aimed to please external power,so that the aspiration of those leaders to get support from out-siders in maintaining the current status can be flown for more longer time. The current unnecessary-touch in the issue of releign may lead nation to great disaster which would be unforgetable repetence to them who have visionlessly support this inexcuseable act.

This information is ridiculas. Its true that Baburam was supported by a Catholic Father in his early schooling but he never became christian. where do you get all this funny information. I admit that only few nominal Christian are sympathisers of Maoists. Please, don't publish a totally incorrect news like this.
